Today’s Patente B tip: use word hints, then check your understanding

A green phrase can help you notice a recurring pattern, but recognising a colour is different from understanding a question. If you study Patente B in English or Urdu, keep the Italian sentence in view, learn what it says and use the explanation to check your reasoning. The same routine works with Hindi and Bangla meanings.

What green and red actually mean

Current-bank observations: richiede di, 14/14 VERO; corsia riservata, 14/14 FALSO. The colour describes counted statements, not the meaning of the phrase.
Current-bank observations: richiede di, 14/14 VERO; corsia riservata, 14/14 FALSO. The colour describes counted statements, not the meaning of the phrase.

In supported practice, green marks a word or adjacent two-word phrase found only in VERO statements in the current bank; red marks one found only in FALSO statements. A candidate needs at least six distinct questions and no opposite-answer example. A single exception removes it from these hints.

The 4 November 2026 check found 46 single-word and 98 two-word patterns across 813 questions. These describe this bank, not every possible future statement. The phrase “corsia riservata” means a reserved lane; its red hint does not mean reserved lanes are wrong or forbidden.

Try this ten-minute revision session

First, spend two minutes recalling the five meanings without the table. Next, spend five minutes on mixed practice questions. Read the whole Italian statement before using a coloured hint. Say what the statement claims, choose an answer and read the explanation when you make a mistake.

Use the last three minutes to save a difficult phrase in My Vocab and explain one mistake in your own words. Hide the pattern hints for another attempt. If your reason depends only on a colour or a remembered answer, revisit that topic in the 504-topic course.

Questions

Do word hints guarantee a correct answer or a pass?

No. They summarise observed wording in this bank. Learn the rule, the figure and the full claim, then check your understanding on different questions.

Why do many questions have no coloured hint?

Only patterns meeting the minimum count with no opposite-answer example qualify. Mixed-answer words and phrases are left unmarked rather than presented as reliable shortcuts.

Are these hints shown in exam simulation?

No. Exam simulation stays free of word-pattern hints. Use supported practice to learn, and the unassisted simulation to check your preparation.
